September 2003: Spontaneous meeting with 3
young architects who chose the Vault of the priory as prone of study
within the framework of their formation "Studies of Chaillot" (Architect
the Council of the Historic buildings): what gives place to the creation
of a partnership: the very first "exchange of savoirs" of Association.

December 2003: The seminar of reflexion
bringing together parents, friends, experts of the associative world and
the inheritance is the first stage of a step binding dialogue to the
communication. First meeting with Yves Boiret, member of the Institute and
eminent expert of the historic buildings.

29 Mai 2004: Official launching of the
association of the Friends of the Priory of Bray at the time of a
day-discovery of the site: 250 amis/visiteurs, 80 adhesions including 40
members benefactors. With this occasion, the evening, to 19h30, in the
open air, in the low court, a concert was given. The first since 1263?
-
November 2004 Launching of the project "Skin
of Ass", musical spectacle put in scene by Marie Anne de Bertier, for
representations with the profit of Association in May 2005.. Signature of
a convention with 3 pupils of the International Institute of the Image and
the Sound for the production of the spectacle. They will make their memory
on the project and will be in training course with the Priory during
May....: a new step of exchanges of savoirs.

December 2004: The Friends of the Priory
meet the team of the Regional Natural reserve "Oise-Country of France" to
consider a collaboration of long term.

February 2005: Finalization of the study
file for the restoration of the Vault. First meeting with the Regional
Conservative of the Historic buildings.

March 5, 2005 Great day "building sites for
all" with the Priory: members and friends of Association link their
forces, leave their boots and their gloves, face remaining snow for an
operation of grubbing, cleaning of the site for Peau of Ass, in all
friendship and user-friendliness.

April 2005: Launching of the vast project of
reconfiguration of the whole of the site with the architects. A programme
of 5 years of work is elaborate.

From December 2004 to May 2005. Nearly 150
people work to build the spectacle: meetings, working sessions,
repetitions follow one another
- May the 2005 three exceptional representations of Skin of Ass
are envisaged 19, May 20 and 21 for 1.000 awaited witnesses.

information

Like each year,
opening to the public of the Priory Saint-Victor de Bray of Monday
August 22 at Friday September 30, 2005, tous.les.jours from 8 to 14
hours. This free visit relates to the Vault and its accesses.
The tariff is 5 euros
by anybody (free for the children of less than 12 years and the
members). Free opening for the days of the inheritance,
Saturday 17 and
Sunday September 18, 2005. INFORMATION: Association of the "Friends of

"REUNION AFTER SKIN Of ASS"
After the immense
success of the spectacle "Skin of Ass" which gathered May 2005 more
than 80 actors amateurs and gathered 1800 witnesses with Bray, the
friends of the Priory invites you to a convivial meeting and the
General meeting of Association.
With this occasion, a
diaporama will make it possible to revive these unforgettable evenings
and to include/understand the dynamics of the "friends of the Priory"
to make revive the site. The architects will give a progress report on
the program of work to save the Vault. This meeting will enable you to
find the team which animates these projects around glass of the
friendship.
9 hours to 18 hours.
With 13h, convivial picnic shared around large fires.
"BUILDING SITE FOR ALL WITH the PRIORESS OF BRAY"
One day in the open
air to discover the site and to take part "all together" in the
building sites of the friends of the Priory (wood, plantations,
stones, pond...). An initiation with the restoration in all its forms,
a presentation of the trade of stone mason, exchanges with the
architects... An occasion of living one day in full nature to meet "the
friends of the Priory" who impassion themselves for the same
objective, to make revive this site, haven of peace, intended to
become a place of division of knowledge and savoirs. |
